Deposit Policy for Custom Orders
A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of at least 50% will be due at the time the customer places an order. The customers appointment/pick-up/delivery/shipping date will NOT be secured until the deposit has been paid. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
After the deposit has been received, the remaining balance is due 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the appointment/pick-up/delivery/shipping date.
If the remaining balance is not received 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the appointment/pick-up/delivery/shipping date, your order will be deemed canceled and your deposit will not be refunded, nor will it be applied to any future orders.
Custom orders placed less than 2 weeks prior to the appointment/pick-up/delivery/shipping date will need to be PAID IN FULL IMMEDIATELY (at the time the order is placed) and will also incur a Rush Fee. (To be determined by Grandma's Cakes KC, LLC, depending on the size of the order)
All orders $100 or less are to be paid in full at the time the customer places the order.
Refunds are permitted to be paid in full, only if Grandma’s Cakes KC, LLC is unable to fulfill the order, due to unfortunate circumstances (Accident, Hospital, Funeral).
Any client who cancels within 24 hours of their appointment/ pick-up/delivery/ shipping time will NOT have their deposit refunded, nor will it be applied to any future orders.
The physical pick-up address will only be given after full payment has been received.

Refund Policy
Please note that all our cakes and treats are non-returnable and non-refundable. Once the items have left our premises, either by delivery or self-pickup, all sales are considered final. We do not accept any returns, refunds, or exchanges. Rest assured, we thoroughly inspect all our items before dispatching them, ensuring you receive the best quality and condition.
Cancellation & Amendment
Once your order is confirmed, we cannot accept cancellations. If you need to make changes, please contact us with your delivery details at least 48 hours in advance.
Grandma's Cakes KC, LLC will not be held responsible for late or non-deliveries, or cakes damaged during the delivery process due to the following circumstances:
- The recipient is not present at the specified address during the delivery period
- No such person exists at the given address
- The given address is incorrect or insufficient
- The recipient refuses the item, unaware of someone ordering for them (Buyers should inform the recipient beforehand to avoid misunderstandings. Any refusal by the recipient is considered as successful delivery. No refund requests will be accepted in such cases.)
- No valid contact number is provided, or the recipient does not answer the calls after multiple reasonable attempts to reach them
- We will not entertain any refund requests for non-delivery due to the perishable nature of our products
- In rare circumstances, late delivery is beyond our control, and Grandma's Cakes KC, LLC will not be held liable for any claims
Damage and Issues
Upon receiving your order, kindly inspect your items promptly to ensure accuracy.
If there are any issues with wrong or incomplete orders, please notify us within 3 hours of receipt. All items must remain unconsumed and in their original state for us to facilitate a refund or product exchange.
